The Wonderful World of
Smell and Taste at the World of Pets
Winterlude of Fun this
Weekend
Think of the World of Pets this weekend at the Maryland State
Fairgrounds as a winter interlude (a winterlude?) for those of you are
snowbound or rainbound or cold-weather-bound and want to get out and “think
summer” – like carnival food or county fair fun.
You may even find tropical nonalcoholic drinks in colorful glasses
that look like blue dolphins or pink flamingos. Peanuts (The Nut Lady and
Pretzels) and more flavors of fudge than you can imagine – to take home. Real
lemonade made on the spot. Carmel apples (The Apple Cart) and new favorites
from All Things
Sweet & Treats.
Love strudel? Stop at the
The Original Strudel Factory.
And don’t forget your best friend – take home some treats from Annie’s Pooch Pops or the Baltimore Dog Bakery.
For the Human in You
Check
out the Linganore Wineceller/Red Shedman Farm Brewery booth and the Sangria
booth!
Who
doesn’t like licorice? I am going to stop by the Sweet and Sour Licorice store.
Nothing Smells Better
than a Clean Dog
Sudzy Pet will be at the World of Pets –
do you need a groomer to come to you?
Nothing
smells better than a clean dog except maybe real leather. Just look around for
new leather designs. And inhale deeply.
There will be hundreds of exhibitors (see the list here) at the World of Pets – and I will be there
all three days, in order to experience it all. See you there!
